Manages abnormal scarring. Softens and flattens raised scars. Reduces redness and discoloration. Reduces itching and discomfort.
Strataderm has all the benefits of silicone sheets without the problems. Contact dermatitis, difficulty of use, and the potential for bacteria growth between the sheet and the skin are all problems inherent with the usage of silicone sheets. Strataderm does not encounter these issues.

  • Strataderm contains no active ingredients and is therefore suitable for all skin types, children, people with sensitive skin, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
  • Strataderm is transparent and odorless. It does not contain alcohol, fragrances or parabens.
  • Strataderm is not absorbed by your skin.

Please recycle the container using our TerraCycle bin  at the Spectrum Dermatology of Seattle clinic.

0.35 oz is enough to treat a 2-3 inch linear scar for over 90 days.

For best results, Strataderm should stay in continuous contact with the skin (24 hours a day/7 days a week).

Step 1: Prepare your skin. Ensure that your skin is clean and dry.

Step 2: Apply Strataderm.  Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm to the relevant areas with your fingertips and distribute evenly. Strataderm does not penetrate the skin.

Step 3: Allow the gel to dry.  When applied correctly, Strataderm should be dry in 3–4 minutes.

If it takes longer to dry you have probably applied too much. Gently remove any excess gel with a tissue or paper towel and allow the drying process to continue. Remember: a little amount of gel goes a long way.

Step 4: You are ready to go!  Once dry, Strataderm can be covered with clothes, sunscreen or cosmetics.

Remove from skin:  Excess Strataderm on your hands can be easily removed by washing them with liquid soap and warm water. Repeat if necessary.

Remove from clothes:  Strataderm may stain clothing if not completely dry. If staining occurs, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric.
